VMukti 1.0 Beta eases the process by which community members and partners can build, certify, and share applications on VMukti Forge and VMukti Exchange. The adoption of the GNU General Public License (GPL) version 2.0 for VMukti Community Edition, combined with the new Module Builder templates, allows non-technical users to create, publish and share modules across VMukti.

VMukti Freedom Unlimited

Your ability to produce and redistribute derivative works of or collective works that include VMukti software is governed by the open source license under which you received it (unless you enter into a formal agreement with VMukti under which you receive alternative licensing terms). Moreover, none of the VMukti trademarks can be used in the promotion, identification, or distribution of

It is generally considered good open source practice to identify in the source code of your derivative or collective works your own copyright notices for the portions of the work you added or changed.

VMukti Open Source is distributed under the GNU General Public License version 3 and is also available under alternative licenses negotiated directly with Adiance Technologies Pvt. Ltd. If you obtained VMukti under the GPL, then the GPL applies to all loadable VMukti modules used on your system as well, except as defined below. The GPL (version 3) is included in this source tree in the file COPYING.

If you wish to use our code in other GPL programs, don't worry -- there is no requirement that you provide the same exception in your GPL's products (although if you've written a module for VMukti we would strongly encourage you to make the same exception that we do).
