• Dated:22/02/08      VMukti: Collaborative Conferencing Engine 1.0.4.0 released:

VMukti is an open source innovative multi-point unified extensible collaborative conferencing engine, with built-in support for access to platform features through Personalized, Mash-able RIA web-interface, light widgets for 3rd party sites, Desktops, PSTN, Mobile and IP phones developed in .NET 3.5 technology.  

Its all core features provide real time data transaction collaboratively. Core features include online Video conferencing, Audio conferencing, Chat, File search, Whiteboard, File-sharing, Presentation, Remote monitoring/controlling/sharing, Scheduler, CRM and more… all at use very low Bandwidth / CPU / Memory usage.  

 A lot of bugs and issues now have been resolved in the new 1.0.4.0 release. New features including descent attractive flexible grid GUI and video recording/maximizing are added. And this is one of the most stable alpha versions of VMukti.  
 

• Date: 26/02/08  VMukti: Call Center Server pre-alpha version1.1.0.1 released

The VMukti development team has released VMukti Call Center Server pre-alpha version 1.1.0.1. In response to a community request, in preparation for this release, the development community held a release candidate period before making the official release. Multiple people tested it out and reported issues. The release candidate process was definitely a success for this release, and we will continue to do it for future VMukti 1.1 releases. 
The release is available for immediate download from http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=162339&package_id=183133.

July 12, 2007 -- (NEWS RELEASE) – Collaborative Conferencing Software as a service delivery provider VMukti (vmukti.com) announced on Wednesday that its chief executive officer, Hardik Sanghvi, will be speaking at OSS Conference (www.oss-conference.in). The event will run from July 13 to 15 at the Pride Hotel in Ahmedabad, India. 
 
Hardik Sanghvi will present "Commercial Open Source – How to build Next Gen Socio-economic business model" where he will discuss the building of commercially viable open source business and share his experiences at VMukti. He'll also explain how publishers of open source software can begin selling their products and obtain benefits besides delivering on corporate social responsibility.
