First time 4 sessions of event were webcasted live using the same interface
in the 4th Global Investors' Summit 2009

The Government of Gujarat organized the 4th Global Investors' Summit on 12-13 January 2009. This event is focused to join business leaders, investors, corporations, thought leaders, policy and opinion makers; the summit is the best place to understand and explore business opportunities in the State of Gujarat.
The first time in the whole world history, 4 sessions of event were live webcasted through single portal interface. The event is likely to attract investments from various spheres including infrastructure, power, oil and gas, shipbuilding, automobiles, tourism, pharmaceuticals and so on, according to sources. Also, aimed to the small and medium scale.
The initiative that began six years ago, now it will be intensified and the state shall propel in to the next stage of the development process, focused and intensive growth in the socio-economic index.

With Japan as an international partner to the event, the state is likely considerable investments in Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) region. Companies like Mitsubishi, Nissan, Toyoto and Honda are likely to attend the Summit.
While Uganda, Canada, Italy, Korea and Russia have shown interest in sending officials from the ministry level along with business delegation to the event, the state is expecting the participation of the government from more countries.
“Business delegations from countries like US, UK, France, China, Germany, Taiwan, Australia, and Malaysia have shown interest in participating at the event. Besides, many African countries have shown interest in participating at the event,” according to senior government officials.
